Black Power 50

This retrospective of the Black Power movement was published by The New Press to accompany an exhibit at Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, in Harlem.

Black Power 50 includes original interviews with key figures from this seminal social movement, essays from today’s leading Black Power scholars, and over 100 stunning images. The dynamic, powerful typography and the boldness of the interior’s black-and-white design channel the energy of the book’s content.
